SUBNET’s impressive client list includes more than 200 utilities and 50 electric utility product vendors around the world.
SUBNET is growing and is looking for an experienced and motivated Software Developer in Test (SDET).
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities of this position include:
- Plan, design, and write code for automated tests of features within SUBNET Solutions products, which may require developing code in C# or/and C++.
- Drive the Test Automation to replace intensive manual testing specially at the System Level
- Mentoring of Junior Test Engineers.
- Development of test cases from system and functional requirements.
- Execution of test scenarios, including scenarios that involve multiple systems.
- Consultations with subject matter experts and developers to confirm accuracy of scenarios.
- Issue bugs utilizing our defect tracking system.
- Set up of test racks that may require the installation of various software and hardware to correctly test Enterprise applications.
- Generate test log reports for the software under test environments
- Other duties as required
Technologies & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelors degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or computer Science with the following qualifications
- Proven profecicency in C# and C++ with at least 2 years of experience
- Object Oriented (OO) systems design and programming
- Experiennce designing and developing test cases and test automation
- SQL experience
- Proficiency in oral and written English
It is considerated an asset if the candidate has the following:
- Test automation framework development
- SCADA Protocols testing
- Cyber Security Testing
- Microsoft Visual Studio Team System Test Edition
