SUBNET Solutions Inc. | July 28, 2009
SUBNET Solutions Inc. (SUBNET) announced today that the inaugural SUBNET User Group Conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia October 26 - 28, 2009.
SUBNET develops software applications for the electric utility industry that bridges the gap between substation devices and business intelligence systems.
“Making Substations More Intelligent®” is the theme of the User Group Conference and will attract engineers, operators, technicians and other electric utility personnel. The venue is set in the heart of Georgia’s Stone Mountain Park not far from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The SUBNET User Group Conference will unveil the latest in SUBNET’s flagship products including SubstationSERVER.NET™, Substation Explorer™ 2.0 and EnterpriseSERVER.NET™.
“Customers and users of SUBNET products have been asking for a user group event”, says Peter Schneider, Strategic Initiatives Manager at SUBNET. “SUBNET is listening and we’re excited about the conference this fall. The three day agenda is packed with information on where we are, where we are going, how organizations have solved industry issues including security & remote control, and the opportunity for customers to help drive future product development. This conference is only the beginning of what will be a strong and vibrant user community for the new Smart Grid.”
SUBNET is also offering product training on October 25, 2009 prior to the start of the official user group meeting.
