  • Introduction to the SubSTATION Server main interface, menus, toolbars and options.
  • An in-depth overview and hands-on practice in creating connections and devices using the Device wizard or CSV templates.
  • An in-depth overview and hands-on practice in adding and editing data points, including practice forcing points or issuing controls.
  • Hands-on instruction and practice creating DNP3 and SEL Fast Messaging master devices (communication processors and relays) including configuring digital input and output, and analog input and output points.
  • An in-depth discussion of master protocols, including properties, quality flags and connections.
  • An in-depth discussion of slave protocols, including properties and connections.
  • Hands-on instruction and practice creating DNP3 slave devices, and using device wizards and CSV templates.
  • Hands-on practice at configuring alarms, including a discussion of alarm types, and the Alarm Summary tool.
  • Hands-on practice with the Auto-mapping tool, including mapping master and calculator points to slave points.
  • Hands-on practice at creating useful calculations.
  • An in-depth discussion of Port and Terminal servers, and the 20xx Emulator, including hands-on practice.
